Q: Who is Hone Gym for?
A: Hone gym is for all levels of fitness and ages.

Q: How do I book my induction with Hone Gym?
A: You can book an induction through HoneGym's online booking system

Q: This is a fantastic offer, what is the catch?
A: There actually is no catch!

Q: What does 'no contract' mean?
A: You are not contractually tied to us for any specified period of time, you can cancel at any time..

Q: Will I be issued with a membership card by Hone Gym?
A: You will be issued with a number that is unique to yourself which will enable you to gain access into Hone Gym via a keypad.

Q: Will I be shown how to use the equipment?
A: Yes, we can provide an induction in which we will show you how to operate the equipment. Should you require this, book this online via email.

Q: Are there changing facilities in Hone Gym?
A: Yes, we provide showers, lockers and toilets.

Q: Are there lockers in Hone Gym?
A: Yes, bring your own padlock or alternatively you can purchase a padlock from our vending machine at Hone Gym. Lockers are only to be used for the duration of your training session.

Q: Does the facility include sauna, steam, spa and pool?
A: We are offering a high quality, exercise and gym facility with no 'frills and fuss' and therefore have opted not to have a sauna, steam, spa and pool.

Q: Will personal training be available?
A: Yes, this is available at an additional cost either on a one-to-one or group basis.

Q: Can I get a program or health check?
A: Yes, you can book a program or a health check through Hone Gym's Online Booking System. These are done by qualified personal trainers.

Q: Is the website secure?
A: Yes, the signup section of the website is secure, and any details entered will be encrypted before being sent to the server.

Q: Can I share or give my PIN number to somebody else to use?
A: Under no circumstances can you give or share your PIN number with anybody else as it is unique to yourself. To protect the interests and ensure the safety of our valued, paying members, offenders will have their membership cancelled. All members entering and exiting the Gym are monitored by CCTV to further enhance member safety and prevent PIN number abuse.

Q: What is the minimum age to join Hone Gym?
A: You need to be 16 years old to join Hone Gym.

Q: Can I freeze my membership?
A: Yes you can freeze your gym membership through the members area. Around two weeks notice is needed.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: Simply call 0871 876 0001 with your membership number. Yes its that easy. (We advise around 14 days notice before direct debit due day.)

Q: Do i get rewarded for being a loyal member?
A: Yes you do. You are rewarded gym mile points when you join, every month you are with us and even when a HoneGym direct debit leaves your bank account. (Coming soon - please email for further details).

Q: How do i redeem my gym mile points?
A: Simply log on to the gym miles website. (Coming soon - please email for further details).

Q: Can I trial Hone Gym before joining?
A: Yes, you can sign up for a single days membership for £6. You can book and pay for this through HoneGym's online booking system.

Q: Can I tour Hone Gym before joining?
A: Yes, you can tour HoneGym buy booking it through HoneGym's online booking system

Q: Do you have WIFI access?
A: We do not currently offer WIFI access to keep membership costs at a minimum for our members. But we will be lookIng into it.

Q: Does Hone Gym offer Car Parking?
A: Hone Gym does offer car parking.

Q: Does it cost for car parking?
A: Hone Gym’s car parking is FREE.

Q: Do you supply paper towel dispensers to wipe down equipment?
A: A small gym towel must be carried to wipe down equipment after use as a courtesy to other members. We do not supply paper towels to keep membership costs at minimum for our members. It would also cause unneccessary waste.

Q: Can I join just the  MMA section and not the gym facilities section?
A: Yes you can.

Q: Do you do classes?
A: Yes, we do. You can book them through the online booking system or directly with the studio instructor.

Q: Can I delay the start of my membership?
A: Yes, If you have an existing gym contract that requires you to give a notice period, you can delay the start of your membership by up to 3 months when you sign up.

Q: Can I pay by cash or visa card?
A: We unfortunately do not have a cash option. The only way you can set up a full membership is by setting up a Direct Debit, which requires a UK bank account. You are able to purchase daily memberships with a credit/debit card.

Q: When does the first months payment come out of my bank?
A: Your first payment will be collected 14 days after signing up, including the joining fee, and will cover your first months membership at The Gym. Subsequent monthly payments will be debited one month after joining and will continue on or just after the same day of each month thereafter. Please note if you sign up to a site with a waiting list your second payment will be debited one month after your membership is activated and will continue on or just after the same day of each month thereafter.

Q: I haven't received my PIN number?
A: You should receive your PIN number by email shortly after joining. Should you not receive your PIN number or have mislaid it please click on Forgot your login on the top right hand corner of our website and answer the security questions you used when you joined to recover your PIN number.

Q: Why are the lights off in the gym during opening times sometimes?
A: Hone Gym's lights are all on timer, therefore if there is nobody in the gym at any time then the lights will automatically turn off.

Q: Will Hone Gym be staffed?
A: HoneGym will be monitored via extensive CCTV coverage with panic buttons that are direct links to Emergency Services. Additionally to this, The Gym will be staffed During peak times, and when all classes are on.

Q: What are Hone Gym’s opening hours?
A: Hone Gym will be open from 6am through until 11pm but the doors will restrict entry after 10pm. Lights are timed to switch off not long after 11pm

Q: How do I get out of Hone Gym after the doors lock?
A: There is an internal door release button that is functional at all times

Q: How do I enquire about the treatment facilities?
A: You can do this in your members lounge, or directly with the therapists.

Q: What weight do the dumbbells go up to?
A: Dumbbells go up to 50kg (pairs)

Q: What is the weight range of the kettle bells?
A: Kettle bell weights range from 4kg - 40kg (pairs)

Q: Are all the free weights for olympic use?
A: Yes

Q: What is the Online Booking System?
A: Hone Gym's Online Booking System is where you can come and book inductions, programs, health checks, personal training and much more of Hone Gym's services online, through a secure site.
