Now have them training there MMA programe along side their K1 kickboxing programe b with in the facilities of HoneGym.The colosseum martial arts centre is a friendly club welcoming all new students of all levels of fitness which has the best, well experienced and qualified instructors in the area.The sessions are hard going and you will increase your cardio, get fit and tone up. On an average you generally burn around 1100 calories in each session.The colosseum have a large breed of talented fighters like Louis King and Tommy King and are always to be found on your major shows like UCMMA, FX3 Extreme Combat, and Extreme Brawl.

Whether you want to learn to fight on any level or just want to get fit the colosseum will be the best place to be!

Classes are held on a Wednesday night 19:00 - 20:30

Nova Forca

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes at Hone Gym are taught by Nova Forca brown belt, Simon Gill.  Simon has studied the art of BJJ since July 2004 under Brazilian black belt, and Nova Forca Head Coach, Ricardo da Silva.

Classes usually consist of a warm-up and conditioning session focussing on developing muscular endurance, core strength and flexibility, followed by technique demonstration and drilling and live sparring or “rolling”.  The emphasis is on the utilization of position and leverage over raw power, and the application of correct technique at all times.

All levels and aspirations are welcome, from complete beginners to experienced Jiu Jitsu players.  For those that wish to compete there are numerous tournaments held throughout the year around the Southeast and usually one or two Nova Forca inter-club competitions as well.

Classes are held on Monday nights 19:30 - 21:30 and on Wednesday nights from 20:30 - 22:00 with a view to adding an additional session on Saturdays.
